After all the hullabaloo I've heard regarding this movie, I came in with fairly high expectations for obvious reasons. That being said, I was still thoroughly impressed but what this one had to offer. The acting in this is top-notch and I wouldn't argue with anyone who tries to claim that this is the best acting and cast in cinema history. Sure, Al Pacino has more screentime than his counterpart Marlon Brando, but Brando's commanding presence permeates through this entire movie, long after he's been in his final season. There's no question who the true star of this one is.
Everything in this movie works: from the dimly lit cinematography to the beautifully crafted score. It does get a tad slow in the middle when we're hanging out in Sicily with Michael, but the rest of the movie is so gosh-darn perfect that I have no choice but to give this movie 10 stars.
